GSA MAS contract modifications

Your contract is not a one-time filing. Products change, prices move, and GSA issues refreshes. We keep your schedule current and compliant.

Why modifications matter

After award, every MAS holder must maintain the contract. GSA expects each contract to be reviewed and updated at least once a year. A modification is the formal request that lets you add or delete products and services, change prices, make administrative updates, request economic price adjustments, or accept GSA's periodic contract refreshes. Left too long, a stale contract loses sales opportunities and can slide out of compliance.

New schedule holders also have a first task: registering on GSA's Vendor Support Center and preparing and uploading a catalog file, generally within six months of award. We help with that too.

The three most common mods

  1. Update pricing

Economic price adjustments and price reductions, prepared so they are approved and reflected on GSA Advantage!.

  2. Add products or services

New offerings approved at the right price and placed where buyers can see them.

  3. Add SINs

Expand the scope of your contract to reach more buyers without starting a new application.

How we work with you

  • Upfront assessment. We discuss your goals, then give you an estimated cost and time frame before we begin.
  • Professionally completed. An analyst prepares the modification to GSA's solicitation requirements and does a final review with you before we submit.
  • Post-submission coordination. We work with your contracting officer, draft responses to any questions, and send you the approved modification and updated contract.

We support hundreds of clients, from one-person firms to companies with hundreds of employees.

Mass modifications and refreshes

GSA periodically issues a "refresh" through a mass modification sent to every contractor. It has to be accepted within a set window after delivery, and the changes it carries can affect your terms. If you skip one, GSA rolls its changes into the next, so you eventually sign all of them together. Knowing what each refresh changes, and when to act, is part of our annual plan.
